LAWATAN SAMBIL BELAJAR PELAJAR ASASI DI INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF MALAYA-WALES KE STUDIO Wanita4U.FM

16 JULAI 2018, Bukit Jelutong – Baru-baru ini radio Wanita4U.FM telah dikunjungi oleh para pelajar dari Universiti Antarabangsa Malaya-Wales yang mana sedang mengikuti kursus pengajian asasi kesenian. Kunjungan ini bertujuan untuk memberi pendedahan mengenai bagaimana operasi sesebuah radio dan apakah aktiviti teknikal yang berlaku sepanjang perjalanan rakaman segmen di studio. Sewaktu sesi penerangan, Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif Wanita4U.FM, Puan Nani Ishak telah memberikan ucaptama yang menyentuh tentang senario semasa yang sedang berlaku dan apakah yang ingin dicapai (khusus bagi radio Wanita4U.FM) serta cabaran – cabaran dalam industri media ini.

Ketua Koordinator bagi program asasi di IUMW, iaitu Puan Nur Damiah juga menyatakan hasrat pihak universiti bagi memberikan pendedahan langsung tentang perjalanan aktiviti sesebuah stesen radio dan peluang yang diberikan bagi melawat radio Wanita4U.FM ini benar-benar membuka peluang tersebut – “Peluang ini telah memberikan pengalaman yang bagus bagi kami dalam menyaksikan perjalanan aktiviti operasi” ujar salah seorang pelajar sewaktu sesi penerangan.

Sewaktu tempoh lawatan, pihak radio dan juga para pelajar universiti IUMW sempat bertukar pandangan mengenai hala tuju masa depan yang mana melibatkan pembangunan dunia media yang sedang berubah arah ke tahap yang lebih mencabar – apabila industri berkembang, apakah yang boleh dilakukan oleh pihak media seperti radio masa kini untuk kekal berdaya saing.

Sebagai tambahan bagi lawatan ini, kesemua pelajar yang terlibat telah diberikan peluang untuk menghasilkan iklan mereka sendiri dimana tema iklan adalah berkisarkan pandangan wanita, perlakuan moral yang baik atau maklumat mengenai universiti mereka sendiri – dan kesemua pelajar telah menjalankan tugasan ini dengan jayanya (sila dengarkan iklan yang dihasilkan oleh mereka di radio kami tak lama lagi)

Kami di Wanita4U.FM ingin mengucapkan selamat belajar kepada semua pelajar asasi ini dan berharap agar mereka dapat terus melanjutkan pelajaran mereka di universiti Wales apabila mereka tamat mengikuti program asasi ini – tak lupa juga diharap agar semuanya ceria-ceria selalu dan “gila-gila” bila perlu. 16 JULY 2018, Bukit Jelutong – Radio Wanita4U.FM recently received a visit from students of International University of Malaya-Wales that currently undergone their foundation in Arts. This visit mainly to expose these students on how a radio station works and what are the technical activities happening during each segment that conducted here at our studio. During the introduction session, our Wanita4U.FM CEO, Puan Nani Ishakhas brief all of them on the scenario of what’s currently happening and what does the radio station (mainly Wanita4U.FM) are trying to achieve and what the challenges lies ahead for this radio.

The IUMW Centre of Foundation Program Coordinator, Puan Nur Damiah also explained that the university wanted these students to have a hands on view on what’s happening at a radio station and a chance to visit a working radio station like this suits the requirements – “This is a good experience for us to see and experience some of the process” said one of the students during the briefing session.

During the visit, the radio team and the university students able to exchange notes on views and what need to be expected in the future as the development in the world of advertising and media has rapidly shifted to a new height – and as the industry grows, what can the media platform such as this radio do in order to stay competitive.

As a bonus for this trip, all the students are been given a chance to produce a jiggles of their own which either to promote the women’s views, good-morality or some details about their universities – and they did wonderfully (please catch their jiggles on air at our radio soon).

CHEF CELEBRITI MEMBERI SUMBANGAN – DEMO MASAKAN CHEF LIZA DI JAMUAN RAYA KEKWA

7 JULAI 2018, Chow Kit – Baru-baru ini, Kelab Kebajikan Wanita (atau KEKWA) telah mengadakan sebuah majlis yang dinamakan Majlis Silaturrahim Ahli KEKWAdi Hotel Holiday City Villa bagi meraikan anak-anak yatim dari Tahfiz Al-Fadhilah – Puncak Alam. Majlis ini telah dihadiri oleh lebih dari 150 orang ahli dan usahawan dari pelbagai negeri dan telah dirasmikan oleh pengasas dan juga pengerusi PRIMA, Puan Rosiah Binti Jantan. Juga hadir, iaitu Yang Berbahagia En. Abdul Razak Muhamad Hafiz, CEO ARS Ultimate SDN BHD, dan En. John Humble dari Web TV.

Dalam ucaptama beliau, Puan Rosiah mengatakan bahawa PRIMA (Persatuan Insaniah Prihatin Malaysia) adalah sebuah badan NGO yang komited dalam menyediakan platform untuk wanita di Malaysia. Badan ini memberikan pelbagai bentuk kemudahan kepada semua ahli termasuklah bantuan kewangan dan pinjaman, serta bantuan khidmat guaman dan kaunseling kepada yang memerlukan. Setakat ini, hampir 20 manifesto telah diwar-warkan kepada umum bagi penyataan rasmi PRIMA dan semua ahli digalakkan agar menyebarkan kewujudan badan ini kepada mana-mana pihak yang berminat untuk bersama-sama dalam usaha ini – harus berumur lebih dari 18 tahun.

Majlis ini juga dimeriahkan lagi dengan kehadiran Chef Celebriti – Chef Liza bersama-sama demo masakan hidangan istimewa beliau. Para jemputan telah dihidangkan dengan 4 jenis masakan istimewa – dimana diantara hidangan pilihan ramai adalah Sambal Petai Udang dan Rendang Kerang. Puan Saedon dari Kedah berkata bahawa beliau amat meminati segmen masakan Chef Liza di kaca TV dan hari ini adalah pertama kali beliau dapat menyaksikan Chef secara langsung. Dalam sesi temuramah beliau, Chef Liza berkata “Saya ingin masakan saya ini dirasai oleh ramai orang – terutama sekali oleh anak-anak yatim disini, dan dengan mengadakan majlis sebegini, saya dapat berbuat demikian dan saya amat berpuas hati dan gembira”.

7 JULY 2018, Chow Kit – Recently, Kelab Kebajikan Wanita or KEKWA has organized an event called: Majlis Jamuan Silaturrahim Ahli KEKWA at Holiday City Villa Hotel to appreciate the orphanage of Tahfiz Al-Fadhilah – Puncak Alam. This event has been attend by more than 150 members and entrepreneurs from various states and has been officiated by the founder and chairperson of PRIMA, Puan Rosiah Binti Jantan. Also present is Yang Berbahagia En. Abdul Razak Muhamad Hafiz, the CEO of ARS Ultimate SDN BHD, and Mr. John Humble, from Web TV.

During Puan Rosiah’s speech, she highlighted that PRIMA (Persatuan Insaniah Prihatin Malaysia) is a dedicated NGO that serves as a platform for women’s in Malaysia. It represents a lot of benefit which includes capital and loans opportunity & legal and counseling services for their members in need. There are almost 20 manifesto has been published for public view which identified PRIMA’s positioning and all the members are encourage to spread the news to anyone which interested to join their movement – must be 18 years and above.

The event also cheered by the present of Celebrity Chef – Chef Liza with her wonderful cooking demo which fit the theme of the day – raya celebration. Chef Liza has wowed the crowd with 4 type of dish – and among the favorites are Sambal Petai Udang and Rendang Kerang. Puan Saedon, from Kedah stated that she is a huge fan of Chef Liza’s cooking show and this is the first time she saw her live. Chef Liza during her interview also said that “I want my cooking to be tasted by more people – especially the orphanage, and by doing this demo I felt satisfied and happy”

MAJLIS IFTAR RAMADHAN TDU DIHATIKU

02 JUNE 2018, Sungai Buloh – In the effort of collecting donations for expanding their facilities, Tahfiz Darul Ulama (TDU) has been collaborating with respective individuals, celebrities and well-known brands to organized “Majlis Iftar Ramadhan TDU Dihatiku” earlier this week.

The event which been participated by more than 200 people has witnessed a wishful Ramadhan celebration as all the students of this tahfiz been flourished with possible future support by the involved entities (such as construction of fundamental subjects to help the students to prepare for their next endeavor; Math, Malay & English language, Science; Sponsors of computers to aid educations, and many more).

Wanita4U.FM Chief Executive Officer, Puan Noraini Ishak also reverted during her correspondence speech that “the radio will help in terms of promoting the effort of this tahfiz by including them in our Ladang Pahala Ku segment which we planned to air soon – and also to seek other means to be a part of this great institution’s effort in the future”.

The Program Director of this event, Tuan Haji Idris Bin Ishak has expressed his gratitude towards all the donors and his team due to the success of this event – and wishes nothing more than the best for all the students of this tahfiz.

19 May 2018, Selayang – In conjunction of Ramadhan Al Mubarak this year, a group of correspondence, honorary def., celebrity, and media (Mainly Wanita4U.FM) is collaborating with a charity homes namely TAHFIZ DARUL ULAMA (TDU) to organize an event called “Majlis Iftar Ramadhan - TDU DiHatiku”. This event is organized to introduce TDU to the general public and help promoting the activities organized here at these facilities – in hoping to aid the tahfiz in their daily expenses and also to support the education of these children.

The founder, Ustaz Haji Muhammad Adenan highlighted that currently the tahfiz is occupying approximately 100 students and they are planning to expand their facilities to help bringing in more students from all over the world – TDU also accept and hold international students. As for now, the tahfiz is funded through donations, zakat fidyah and wakaf from the public and private individuals. During this correspondence meeting held in Selayang, all the related parties are briefed on the context of this event and how the general public can help in making this event a success.

Wanita4U.FM VISITS MACP - CONTRACT BETWEEN Wanita4U.FM WITH MACP IS FINALIZED

15th May 2018, Dutamas - Puan Nani Ishak (CEO Wanita4U.FM) recently visits MACP( music authors copyringht protection berhad) office in Solaris, Dutamas to finalise all the contract terms between Wanita4U.FM and MACP towards all the copyright material which will be used for our radio operations moving forward.

This visit is organised to understand all the terms & conditions set by MACP for Wanita4U.FM and how Wanita4U.FM can contribute towards the compensation of all the copyright contributor (composers, singers, publishers, record labels, etc.) and what are the benefit to which Wanita4U.FM will gain by exchanging agreement with MACP as the legal authority that monitors the movement of all the music-based copyright materials.

By having this agreements signed, Wanita4U.FM will have full privileges on using any music-based materials registered under MACP and the contributor will be rewarded at the end of the process on annual basis - known as royalty.

PERDASAMA GOMBAK NEW OFFICE LAUNCHING

14 May 2018, Damansara Damai - Persatuan Pedagang Dan Pengusaha Melayu Malaysia (PERDASAMA) of Selangor State (Gombak District) recently launched their new office which situated in Damansara Damai area. This ceremonial event has been witnessed by the other PERDASAMA's leaders of Selangor states (Petaling, Klang, Kuala Selangor & Hulu Langat) and also 20 Tahfiz students from Tahfiz Darul Ulama of Sungai Buloh.

During the opening speech, Datin Norisa Abu Bakar (whom also the Chairman of PERDASAMA Selangor - Gombak District) said that "the true meaning of being an entrepreneur is to embrace the challenge in building the business and to be together as a unit and not as a single individual" She expresses her hope to which PERDASAMA to bloom and prosper and to continue to be the stronghold for all BUMIPUTERA entrepreneurs all over Malaysia.

Also joining the event is Mr Azamanizam Bin Baharom (Yang Dipertua of PERDASAMA Selangor) to officiate the launching of these facilities. During the officiating speech, he expresses the need for all the BUMIPUTERA entrepreneur to increase their standards and skills in order to keep up with the evolutions in the business world. He add that PERDASAMA has always been neutral in their involvement with each side of the political party to which he hope that there is no concern or negative perception been spread among the members due to the recent transition of political powerhouse. "We are neutral, and we would like to keep it that way for the benefit of all..." said Azamanizam further.

CHEF LIZA PRODUCTION - MALAYSIAN BOOK OF RECORDS HOLDER FOR THE LARGEST RENDANG COOKING OF MORE THAN 1 TONNE OF MEAT

13 May 2018, Putrajaya - Chef Liza Production in conjunction with Kementerian Pembangunan Wanita, Keluarga Dan Masyarakat (KPWKM) has organized an attempt to set a mark in the Malaysian Book of Records for The Largest Rendang Cooking in Malaysia - more than 1 Tonne of Rendang with the help of over 200 cooks and chefs from various institutions and private facilities.

During the opening speech, KPWKM Chief Secretary, Dato' Suriani Binti Dato' Ahmad has expresses her excitement towards this attempt and how she hope that all of this effort been rewarded exclusively through the award from the records authority. Her words bound to be true as Chef Liza's production attempt has been deemed to be successful once the representative from The Malaysian Book of Records raised a green flag at the end of the rally and this sparks joy to all the participant and funders. Joining at the final rally of the attempt are Datuk Yatimah Binti Sarjiman, Chief Director of JPW and she also stated her commitment during this event by joining all the chefs in the "last cook" ceremony hosted by Chef Liza herself.

All the rendang cooked during this event will be donated to our line of defence personnel (Army, Police) and also the selected charity homes nearby.

During this attempt, there are also other events such as Pink Zumba which comprises of gathering a large numbers of participant for zumba activities and not forgetting Forums that talks about Women's Issues are also been held. Another attempt for the Malaysian Book of Records for the Largest Gathering for Make Up Artist & Special Effect Make Up Artist also been organised at the same vicinity. All of this events are held in conjunction of "Konvensyen Wanita Gemilang" which helm by KPWKM for their Women's Empowerment Campaign 2018.

ROHINGYA DIHATIKU - A CHARITY FOR THOSE WHOM IN NEED

03 May 2018, Puchong - Team Wanita4U.FM in conjunction with respective individuals, doctors and close friends has successfully organised a CSR program called "Rohingya Dihatiku".

This charity event has gathered over 100 families of Rohingyan refugees (based in Puchong) to be presented with a token of daily supplies items. During the speech, the Rohingyan community leaders at the vicinities has expresses their concerns regarding their future (not only in Malaysia, but also) of their homeland and how they wish that all the Rohingyan community around the world can return safely / or at least securing their future.

Puan Nani Ishak (CEO of Wanita4U.FM) also expresses her concerns regarding these issues during this event as she replied that "We will try our level best to help the Rohingyan community and to assist in any way within our capability to create a better future for this community".

The Rohingyan communities in Puchong consist of 150 families members, 300 single members, 100 close community members and almost 40 students - primary & secondary level. "One of our main concerns right now is to ensure that these children are getting their education properly as we are trying our best to provide it with everything that we have - which is still far from sufficient" said the Madrasah Leaders.

This program is said to be designed to promote and enhance the best quality of a Muslims Deen (way of life) and to encourage all Muslim to be sensitive about the issues relating to the Muslim community around the world.

This launching which been witness by students from Islamic University of Medina, fellow brothers from other Islamic country (Syria, Bangladesh, Yemen) and press are to show how much the effort has been done by MAPIM to help the Muslims community to stand on their ground and to be able to build their economy back to its feet – especially those country that involved with war and terrorism.

Cikgu Azmi (President of MAPIM) during his speech expresses his concerns and hope towards the younger generation of Muslims to be united and to be able to have all the knowledge and skills to face the nowadays challenges – not to mention he also relates how Ramadan can be jive with the enhancement of the Muslims as a unit.

During this press conference segment, MAPIM has introduced seven (7) program to be organized during the holy month of Ramadan such as Ramadan Award, Ramadan Iftar Tazkirah, Daurah Ramadan - Bina Sahsiah Remaja, Nuzul Al-Quran – Ramadan & Humanity, Humanitarian Exhibition, Hamper Jejak Peduli Ramadan & One Million Ummah Yassin Recital which to be held throughout the month of Ramadan.
